Why is everyone in a rush?

Why is everyone in a rush? There's a saying that everyone's in a rush with nowhere to go. It certainly seems like it. At work, on the roads, social media, movies, sports—everything is fast, furious, too much.

Everyone's part of the herd, reacting to the shepherd of life—just doing whatever everyone else is doing because why be different when being the same is safe?

But there's something special about the slow life. Minimalistic. Intentional. Going against the herd. Stripping everything away till all that is left is the only thing needed.

The essence of a happy life. The way life is supposed to be.
