Kill your dreams

You don't need what you want.

Kill your dreams.

The best lesson I've kept from Mark Manson's 'The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck.'

The thing that you want, that you dream of, do you really want it? Can't-breathe-if-I-don't-get-it type of want it?

Or are you just addicted to the feeling of feeling good once you attain that dream?

Here are a few questions for you to think about:

Want to be a founder? Cool.

Do you love endless uncertainty?

Want to write? Nice.

Can you face the blank page daily?

Want to build products? Great.

Can you handle being wrong 90% of the time?

To put it bluntly:

Do you want the result but none of the work and the process that goes into it?

If you're not willing to suffer and just want the result, kill the dream.

Before it becomes a nightmare of tedious disappointment.
